Each leader contributes unique skills and experience to make our events successful and impactful.

Jesse is the founder and president of Waterway Cleanups, leading our mission to restore and preserve Virginia's waterways through community action and education. With a passion for environmental conservation and wetlands science, Jesse has organized and lead numerous clean-up events, vegetation plantings, and educational programs that have engaged thousands of volunteers.

Eric serves as our Secretary, managing organizational records and ensuring compliance with legal requirements. His expertise in administrative operations has been instrumental in maintaining the smooth functioning of our organization. Eric also contributes to strategic planning initiatives.

Kerri is our Treasurer, overseeing financial operations and budget management for Waterway Cleanups. Her financial acumen helps ensure responsible stewardship of our resources and sustainable growth of the organization. Kerri also works closely with sponsors to secure funding for our environmental initiatives.
Our volunteer leads are experienced environmental advocates who help coordinate and guide our community cleanup efforts. They bring deep knowledge of local ecosystems and years of hands-on experience in environmental stewardship to ensure our events are both impactful and educational.

With a background rooted in the very first Environmental Studies program in the U.S., Jeff has spent decades practicing organic farming, contributing to environmental publications, and advancing ecological stewardship. He currently leads local initiatives to protect Stafford’s natural resources, drawing on a deep history of activism that spans from the very first Earth Day to the present.
